Model600supports12VstoragetypeleadacidbatterieswithwiderangeofAHcapacity.Noexternalpower(MainorDC)isrequired.TheunitworksonBUT(BatteryUnderTest).

1.2APPLICATIONS

AstheinformationagedevelopsitislikelythatthedemandforUPSunitswillincreaseforuseinhospitals,offices,labsetc.ItisexpectedthattheimportanceofbatterymaintenancewillincreasealongwithincreasingdemandforUPS.

Followthestepsasoutlinedbelow:

2.2.1ConnectionProcedureConnectBatteryCapacityAnalyser(600)toBatteryUnderTest(BUT).Connectthe+veterminalof600to+veterminalofBattery.Connect-veterminalof600to–veterminalofBattery.The600willbepoweredwiththeBUT.OnPowerup,600performsaselftestbyturningonthe7segments,LEDsoneafteranother&finallyflashingtheversionnumber.

Caution:Donotconnectthe+veterminalof600to_veterminalofBUTand_veterminalfo600to+veterminalofBUT.Ondoingso,the‘ReversePolarity’LEDglowsas

shown.

2.2.2SelectingAHCapacity

Pressthe'AHRange'key.TheselectLEDglowsasshown.

Thedisplaywillshowthelastselected/storedAHvalue.(PowerONdefaultvalueis7AH)

Tochangethevaluetosay100AHpressthekeyagain.Displayshowsnewvalue.KeeponpressingtillthedesiredAHisobtained.

ToLocktheAHcapacity,eitherpressanykeyOTHERthantheAHRangekeyORwaitforabout10seconds.YourselectedAHvalue

willautomaticallygetlockedLockingisindicatedbytheglowingof'Locked'LED.

2.2.4ObservingResultAfteraTest

BydefaulttheBatt.Voltageisdisplayedonthedisplay.ToobservetheBalanceCapacityleft,pressthe‘DisplayMode’switch.

2.2.3ConductingaTest

Testcanbeconductedanytimebypressingthe“LoadTest”key.

Bydoingsothe‘TestOn’LEDstartsglowing.Typically,itglowsforabout2seconds.Thereafterthe‘Ready’teststartsblinking.

(TheblinkingtimedependsontheAHrangeslsected).Thereafteritbecomessteady.

Note:Usercannotconductatestwhilethe‘Ready’LEDisblinking.

Note:BalancceCapacitycanhaveameaningfulvalueonlyafterconductionofatest.Atpoweron,avalueof0isshown.HenceBalanceCapacityshouldbeseenonlyafterconductionofatest.ToobserveNoLoadBatt.Voltage,pressthe‘DisplayModeKey’.ThedisplaywillshowtheNoLoadBatt.Voltage.

AH.OprimalallaveAH;elLEDdeselecciónencenderá.LapantallamostraráelúltimovaloralmacenadodeAH.(Alencendido,elvalorpordefaultdeAHes7).

Paravariarelvalor,digamosa100AH,oprimalallavedenuevorepetidamentehastaqueaparezcaenpantallaelvalordeseado.
