2、sad. He asked them and they said to him that they all had had a dream and no one was able to give them the sense. And Joseph said, did not the sense of dreams come from God? What was your dream? In the chief wine-servants dream he saw a vine before him. On the vine there were three branches; and it

3、seemed as if it put out buds and flowers, and from them came grapes ready for cutting. Pharaohs cup was in his hand, and he took the grapes into Pharaohs cup, then gave the cup into Pharaohs hand. Joseph said that after three days Pharaoh would give him honour, and put him back into his place. By th

4、e way, Joseph wanted him to say a good word for him to Pharaoh and help him out of this prison. In the chief bread-makers dream there were three baskets of white bread on his head. And in the top of the basket were all sorts of cooked meats for Pharaoh; and the birds were taking them out of the bask

5、ets on his head. Joseph said that three days Pharaoh would take him out of prison, hanging him on a tree, so that his flesh would be food for birds. The third day was Pharaohs birthday and he put the chief wine-servant back to his old place. The chief bread-maker was put to death by hanging as Josep

6、h had said. But when the wine-servant got his place, he did not keep the promise, Joseph just stayed in the prison until he said to Pharaoh. Although Joseph was put into the prison, he still had the knowledge to perform himself by helpinfg two servants to deal with the dreams. We may be faced with m

7、any problems and suffer from the difficulties, we should never give up. We all need to maintain a good state of mind. No matter what we may meet and what others may say, stick to our principle and do what we want. From the end of this short story, we can see that the wine-servant did not keep Joseph in mind or give a thought to him. But from the following story, we will
