UNIT 6 My Holiday 1. About the LessonThis is the second lesson in unit 8 which is in Students Book 6. The lesson is used for pupils in Grade 5. It takes “my holiday” as a teaching topic. It makes pupils listen, say, read and write these vocabularies: travel,enjoy the visit,place of interest,the Palace Museum,The Great Wall,the West Lake. Make Pupils ask and answer the things about my the holiday to use and master these sentences patterns:I will.,I am gong to.How will you go? etc.Make Ps ask and answer the things about our my holiday, Train and improve pupils English skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. By discussing and doing something for ability, good habits, animals, Make pupils be good boys or good girls. 2.Teaching Aimsa. Make pupils listen, say, read and write these sentence patterns:travel,enjoy the visit,place of interest,the Palace Museum,The Great Wall,the West Lake. I will.,I am gong to.How will you go? Where will you go? Etc.b. By teachers creating situation, make pupils use and say the vocabularies and sentences. Improve pupils English skills. c. By talking about the topic “My Holiday”,make pupils love traveling,love our coutrys beautiful places.3 the Teaching Defficulty Make pupils use and say the vocabularies and sentences. Intelligence analysis and Teaching strategies I will try my best to make these pupils be happy. I think the pupils are interested in singing, playing and competition. The teacher will lead all the pupils to study English by singing English songs, playing games and taking part in activities. 6 Teaching stepsStep 1: Leading In The teacher uses a game named There is a light rain as a start . Draw some simple pictures with chalks on the blackboard and act somethings about weather, (hot)Ask: whats the weather like?Ss: hot.T: Its hot,what will I do?Ss: You will wear your coat. Draw andAct weather (cold) , Ask: whats the weather like?Ss:cold .T: Its hot,what will I do?Ss: You will have some ice-creams.T: Yes Its hot, Summer holiday is coming,so lets talk about something about my holiday in this class.(white the title “Unit 6 My Holiday” ) T: Ss: .Step 3 Introduction2T: Summer holiday is coming,Im ging to somewhere to play. I will go somewhere to travel. Show word “travel”. Introduce “travel”.I will go to Beijing , guess what I will see? Yes ,the Place Museum ,the Great wall. I wii go to Hang Zhou. I will go to see what ? Year, the West Lake.The teacher say some things about them.Introduce the Place Museum,the West Lake,the Great wall and finally the teacher say “the Place Museum ,the Great wall the West Lake,they are places of interests, I am very happy, I enjoy the visit.” Introduce places of interests,enjoy the visit.read and write,Act if possible. Step 4 Read and write and Listen Read and write and Listen ,The teacher asks pupils to Read and write and Listen , fill in the blanks with the new words, give some directions if possible. Then check and give congratulations. Step 6 Practice Fill in the blanks with the letters according the new words in this class. The teacher gives congratulations for the best. The pupils clap for him/her. Step7 Guess Guess what the places of interest are according the teachers English describing.Step 8 Homework 1Lean the new words by heart 2Think and say Summer holiday is coming, Where will you go for your holiday in this summer?
