Section A 1a2d一、【教材分析】教学目标知识目标1. 让学生能听、说、读、写下列词汇和短语。 custom, bow, kiss, greet be supposed to do sth. 应该干某事, 被期望做某事 shake hands握手 for the first time第一次 make some mistakes犯错误should have done sth/ shouldnt have done sth 本应该做某事2. 让学生能够正确使用下列重点句式:1) In your country, what are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time?在你们国家,你第一次遇见一个人应该干什么?Youre supposed to shake hands. 你应该握手。2) What are people in Korea supposed to do when they meet for the first time?在朝鲜,人们第一次见面应该干什么?Theyre supposed to bow. 应该鞠躬。3) Well, it was OK, but I made some mistakes. I was supposed to arrive at 7:00, but I arrived at 8:00.哦,挺不错的,但是我犯了一些错误,应该7点到;可我8点才到的。4) You should have asked what you were supposed to wear. 你本应该问问你应该穿什么的。3. 让学生学会固定短语be supposed to do 的用法、句型结构与转换。能力目标能够正确描述自己或他人在不同场合应该做什么。情感目标培养学生文明的交际行为,能理解和尊重不同国家的的风俗习惯。教学重点本课的重点单词、短语和句型教学难点使学生能较熟练地在口语交际中学会表达不同国家的人初次见面时的礼仪。教学方法情景教学法;任务型教学法。二、【教学流程】环节师生活动二次备课I. 复习热身课前3分钟检查单词预习情况,教师根据学生读的状况,适当领读,帮助学生正音。1. Enjoy a song. 2. Free talk:课前把学生分成组,每组代表一个国家(较熟悉的),并让他们课上介绍自己所代表的国家的习俗。 II. 感知体验1. Learning tasks“示标定向” 出示这节课的三维学习目标。1) 学习并掌握下列单词:custom, bow, kiss, greet 2. 能正确使用以下常用表达:be supposed to do sth. 应该干某事, 被期望做某事 shake hands握手 for the first time第一次 make some mistakes犯错误should have done sth/ shouldnt have done sth 本应该做某事3. 能熟练掌握并使用下列重点句式:1) In your country, what are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time?在你们国家,你第一次遇见一个人应该干什么?Youre supposed to shake hands. 你应该握手。2) What are people in Korea supposed to do when they meet for the first time?在朝鲜,人们第一次见面应该干什么?Theyre supposed to bow. 应该鞠躬。3) Well, it was OK, but I made some mistakes. Leading-in“导入新课”In different counties, there are different customs. Knowing different customs is also important. For example, in our country, we are supposed to shake hands when we meet for the first time. In Japan, people are supposed to bow, they are not supposed to shake hands. In western countries, people are supposed to kiss. There are four pictures. T: Look at Picture 1. What are people are supposed to do when they meet for the first time? S: They are supposed to shake hands. T: Look at Picture 2. What are people are supposed to do when they meet for the first time?S: They are supposed to bow.T: Look at Picture 3What are people are supposed to do when they meet for the first time? S: They are supposed to kiss. T: Look at Picture4. What are people are supposed to do when they meet for the first time? S: They are supposed to hug. 就以上内容适当板书,领生起读。shake hands; bow; kiss; hug 3. Make the conversations in pairs.Get he students to make conversations like the above in pairs and then share theirs.III. 强化巩固1. 机械操练 (Mechanical Drills) Read the conversation or sentences in pairs several times.2. 有意义操练 (Meaningful Drills) 1) 1a & 1b1) Go through the instructions with the class. Point to the lists in Activity la and say, Now you will hear a conversation between a boy and a girl. Their conversation contains the answers to the questions in Activity 1a. 2) Play the tape for the first time. This time, students only listen3) Play the tape a second time. Ask them to listen to the recording and check their answers to Activity 1a.4) Check the answers with the class. Invite a student to read the answers. 1. c 2. b 3. a 4. b 5. a3. 交际性操练 (Communicative Drills)1c1) Read the instructions to the whole class. 2) Point out the example in the box. Ask two students to read it to the class. 3) Point to the lists of customs and countries in Activity la. Tell students to talk about these countries and customs first, and then talk about other countries and customs they know about. 4) As students work together, move around the classroom checking their work. IV. 实践应用1. Listening practice:2a &2b 1) Look at the picture and ask students to tell what is happening. Help students understand that the people are at a picnic. Point to Maria and ask, whats Maria wearing? (She is wearing a dress.) Ask, Does she look comfortable? (No.)2) Read the instructions and point to the four mistakes on the list. Ask different students to read the mistakes to the class. 3) Listen to Maria talking to a boy about what happened at the picnic. She made several mistakes. Listen to the recording and check the mistakes she made. Play the recording. Students only listen the first time. Play the recording again. Get students to check the mistakes Maria made. Check the answers with the class. (2. come later, 3. shake hands, 4 wear)4) 2c Get the students to make conversations between Maria and Dan from 2a-2b then role play it. 2. Reading practice: 2dRead the conversation between Judy and Clara and answer the questions.1) How was the welcome party for foreign students last night?2) Did they make any mistakes?3.
