山东大学硕士学位论文 摘要 长期以来，奈达的功能对等理论一直得到人们的高度评价并对翻译实践产生 了重要影响。本论文的主要目的在于探索功能对等理论的理论基础价值及其对商 务英语的翻译工作者的帮助。奈达的对等理论将研究的重点转移到文本与读者的 关系上，以读者的反映作为评价翻译的标准，从而在翻译界独树一帜。 众所周知，随着经济全球化的发展，国际商务已非常普遍，商务英语的作用 日益突出，很多人都在研究商务英语的翻译。但到目前为止，从笔者所掌握的材 料看，商务翻译还有大量的研究工作需要去做。 本文通过把对等理论，特别是奈达的功能对等理论运用于商务英语之中，将 商务英语的语言特征和对商务英语的研究有机地结合在一起。奈达的功能对等 “首先是意义上的对等，其次是风格的对等”。奈达主张译文读者对译文的反应 应与源文读者对源文的反应一致。我们认为上述两点实际上是一样的。因为如果 源文与译文在意义与风格上是功能对等的，那么读者对两者的反应必然是一样或 大致一样的。 为了证明这一理论能够应用于商务英语的翻译，我们从功能和风格两个角度 总结了商务英语的特征。就功能而言，我们认为商务英语主要有两个功能，信息 功能和交际功能；就风格而言，我们认为商务英语具有如下特征：清晰，简洁， 精确，一致，谦让，形式性和完整性。 以此为基础，我们翻译了大量商务英语的例子，在词，句，文本各个层次都
