硕士学位论文 语次范畴中模糊限 制倍的认知含析 学科专业: 英语语言文学 指导教师:文旭教授 研究方向: 认知语言学 研 究 生:李 丽 ( 2 0 0 2 2 9 9 ) 内容摘要 模糊性作为自 然语言本质的，不可或缺的属性之一，广泛存在于语言系统内部 以及语言运用的各个层面. 人们对语言模糊性的关注由来已久，但是对模糊语言 进行专门的研究至今却只有四 十年左右的历史。模糊语言学是一门新兴学科， 其 理论基础是美国科学家l . a . z a d e h 提出的模糊集理论。模糊语言学最初主要侧重 于语义方面的研究，如语义模糊产生的原因以及模糊语义的定量分析，等等。随 后注重于语用方面的研究，如模糊语言在言语交际中的作用，等等。 作为模糊语言学的一个重要领域， 模糊限制语在各种语言中普遍存在。单纯的 语义、语用、语法或社会语言学等方面的研究很难充分解释此类语言现象，因此 有必要从认知的角度出发去分析和研究，以便更好地阐释该模糊语言现象。 本文旨在从认知的角度出发， 运用范畴化理论来分析模糊限制语在语义范畴中 的分类、特征和功能，重点探讨以下几个问题:从认知的角度来研究模糊限制语 具有重要意义;模糊限制语和语义范畴之间所具有的交互式和相互关联的关系; 怎样运用范畴化理论来分析模糊限制语。全文分为五章: 第一章勾勒出论文的主题与框架。 首先，作者介绍了语言模糊性的本质和模糊 语言学的研究和发展状况， 作为本文的研究背景;然后，作者指出了模糊限制语是 模糊语言学的一个重要领域，并介绍了模糊限制语的研究现状:最后，作者指出 模糊限制语的认知研究在理论和实践方面都具有重要意义，因而值得深入的调查 和研究。 内 容 摘 要 第二章具体分析了范畴化与模糊限制语。首先， 作者具体研究了范 畴化的本质 及其重要性。赵艳芳 ( 2 0 0 1 )指出:范畴化是人类对世界万物进行分类的一种高 级认知活动，其过程是复杂和模糊的，而非简单和精确的。因此，范畴化对于客 观事物、自然现象和语言都具有重要意义;接着作者介绍了范畴化的两种理论和 一个原则，即经典理论、原型理论和家族相似性原则，并对前两者进行了比较， 从而得出原型理论在一定程度上优于经典理论的结论。其原因是前者表明了人类 范畴化基于的准则远高于后者的设想。此外，作者还指出原型理论亦不完善，它 无法解释是什么把范畴成员联在一起的;最后描述了范畴化与模糊限制语之间交 互式和相互关联的关系。 第三章着重从认知的角度来分析模糊限制语在语义范畴中的分类。即，运用在 第二章中阐述的范畴化理论来深入分析模糊限制语。首先， z a d e h ( 1 9 7 2 ) 把模糊 限制语划分为两类:一类是直接修饰模糊词;另一类模糊限制成分的作用是说明 它们是从哪方面作用于 模糊词的。其次， p ri n c e e t a l .
