Imitation constitutes an integral part to technological innovations since human beings have successfully improved their living conditions and ushered in one era of cutting-edge technologies after another through learning from nature and other species living therein. This stands in agreement with Perspective Two that human beings have greatly benefited from inheritance of natures fortune and former achievements by our predecessors. By way of applying biological principles to engineering, countless bionic mechanisms and biomimetic products have been designed and manufactured. Sharkskin swimsuits after the outer skin of sharks, Velcro after burdock burrs, bullet trains after kingfishers, turbines after whale fins, dustproof paint after lotus petals, and the list goes further on. Rudimentary knowledge and imitation based thereon of our environment and other creatures provide innovations with a foundation to make consequent adaptations to in order to better accommodate human needs. On account of the significance of the two factors mentioned above, it should not be overlooked that the cooperation of creativity and imitation as is pointed out in Perspective Three, and their influences on one another has been occupyin
