小学英语教学设计-UNIT 4 What are you doing ? 【教学内容】本课时的教学内容是PEP小学英语5年级下4单元 A Lets learn, 和Lets chant 以及C Lets sing等内容。教学重点:1、听、说、读、写五个动词短语的ing形式: doing the dishes, cooking dinner, reading a book, drawing pictures, answering the phone。2. 能运用句子“What are you doing? Im doing the dishes/”询问别人正在做什么并作答。3. 初步了解现在进行时的结构。教学难点:1. 如何引导学生感知、理解现在进行时所表达的含义以及动词ing形式的读音,2. 短语“answering the phone”中“answering”的读音。【教学目标】一、能力目标:1、能够简单描述自己正在做什么,如:Im doing the dishes.2、能够听懂、会唱歌曲“What Are You Doing?”二、知识目标:1、 能够能够听、说、读、写动词短ing的形式: doing the dishes, cooking dinner, reading a book, drawing pictures, answering the phone2、 理解Lets chant的内容。通过说唱Lets chant部分的歌谣,巩固复习 Lets learn 部分的短语和句子三、情感目标:培养热爱生活的美好感情。【教学准备】教师准备各种动词短语卡片、 录音带、锅(pot)、铲(shovel)、手机、碗(bowl)碟(plate)等小道具, 一本故事书,一本图画书,鼓励评介小贴图.【教学过程:】Step 1:Warm-up & Revision(TPR活动)T: Are you ready for English class ? S :Yes .(lets sing a “lalala”song ,ok? Show me your hands. )T: Hello, boys and girls .S:Hello ,Miss zhu .T: Nice to meet you . S: Nice to meet you ,too.1. Listen and doT:Now, boys and girls, please follow me. Do as I do.复习动词和词组。教师边做动作边说: eat/ drink/read/ write/ draw/ jump/ run/ swim/ flysweep the floor/water the flowers /wash the dishes./ watch TV【设计意图】 在Warm-up 中通过TPR的形式回顾所学的动词,从一开始就将学生带入动词的世界,以旧带新,为后面的新授、拓展做一简单的引导,为后面引出do the dishes, cook dinner等短语做铺垫。2. Free talk.T: Can you do housework? What can you do?S1: I can. S2: I can.T: Great. Youre helpful.【设计意图】通过师生的自由对话,为学生提供一个可自由发散思维的问题,引导学生快速进入用英语思维的课堂中来。Step2.Presentation and practise 教学 doing the dishes, cooking dinner, reading a book, drawing pictures answering the phone。1、教学doing the dishesT: Guess! What can I do? SS: You can.T: (做洗碗的动作)Please look at me. I can do the dishes.(板书短语) T:W hat am I doing? (边动作洗碟子,边解释现在我在做什么?)You can ask me :What are you doing ?(词卡领读板书问句) T:ask me together. (老师边动作回答)I am doing the dishes. (老师板书 I am )教师出示洗碗动作的卡片,板书ing并领读doing the dishes,学生做洗碗的动作。T: What are you doing? 帮助学生回答:I am doing the dishes. 告诉学生洗碗有两种表达方法,即I am doing the dishes. 或 I am washing the dishes. (we can say .we can also say .)再次板书:I am=Im(领读,拿盘子准备传)T: (拿一个盘子)Now lets pass the dish one by one, and ask: What are you doing?传盘子时,全体同学一起打着节奏问:What are you doing? 当老师说:Stop时,拿到盘子的同学站起来边洗盘子边说:“I am doing the dishes.”【设计意图】由Free talk 引出do the dishes ,由学生熟悉的词组入手,利用肢体语言演示动词词组,使呈现更加直观形象、生动有趣,有利于提高学生的学习热情,增强学习效果。通过传盘子的游戏集体练习、重点突破主句型 What are you doing ?2、教学cooking dinnerT: (与 一名学生对话)You can do the dishes . Can you cook dinner?S: 如果生回答 Yes, I can.老师就用 T: Youre helpful. Please do an action and say.T:(边让生说cook dinner, 边做动作)师板书 cook dinnerT:(利用道具,做出做饭动作)Now, Im cooking dinner. 领读cooking dinner,然后学生做做饭的动作。师生练习:T: What are you doing?SS: Im cooking dinner.板书ing. Cook add ing is pronounced cooking画连读符号)(设计思路:当盘子传到最后一名学生,老师问:You can do the dishes . Can you cook dinner?自然引出cook dinner的教学.3、教学reading a bookT: Now boys and girls,please look at this .Whats this ?S:.T: Yes,its a story book .Do you want to read it ? S:.老师让一个学生上台来看书 , T: What are you doing?学生试着回答:Im reading a book.教师出示读书的图片,板书并领读 reading a book,学生跟读。然后学生做读书的动作,师生练习:T: What are you doing? SS: Im reading a book.4、教学drawing pictures出示一幅画,T: oh, There is a picture book. There are many beautiful pictures in it.(板书pictures). I can draw pictures,Can you draw pictures?(师边说边画,然后板书、领读) S: Yes. T : Yes,we can draw picture.Lets draw some pictures . Please draw one thing. You can draw a tree, flowers,an apple and so on . T: What are you doing? SS: I am drawing pictures.5、教学answering the phoneT:(模仿电话铃声)Im sorry. Please wait a minute. Let me answer the phone.(老师拿起电话)Hello. Its Miss Zhu. Im having an English class. Im very busy. Bye.(放下电话教学词组answer the phone )板书T: What am I doing?SS: Youre answering the phone.(帮助学生回答)T:Yes,Im answering the phone.T: Use your hands, like this. (老师让学生用手作为电话听筒,并出示下面的对话。)(课件)(T: You will be A, I will be B.lets make a telepone call.ck ?练习完一次后交换角色)OK.Lets change ,I will be A. You will be B . Lets go!A: Hello(课件)B: Hi. Its _(自己的名字) . What are you doing?A: Im answering the phone. What are you doing?B: Im _(drawing pictures /doing the dishes /cooking dinner / reading a book) . T:Next, practise in pairs 。Which group can act out the dialogue in front of class?(抽查一两组学生对话)【设计意图】老师接电话时说:Hello! Its Miss Li.自然渗透打电话的日常用语,让学生将书卷起做为电话,出示对话提示,小组练习。借助这个短语即可以对前面的四个短语做一阶段性总结,又可渗透下节课Lets talk的内容。Step 3 .Practise 1、Now,boys and girls.Look at the sceen and read after me .(eg,do the dishes -doing the dishes)2、(快速反应游戏)Now,boys and girls .Listen and say (If I say do the dishes ,you say doing the dishes.understand? )教师说本部分的动词短语,如:do the dishes,让学生说出它的ing 形式:doing the dishes.3、Who has magic eyes? Ready ?(老师闪动词卡,学生猜)T : Can you guess? Bingo ! T ell me ! the last one is .?4、T:boys and girls ,do and say! Ill show you the cards, you do the actions together and answer my question.understand? (老师出示动词卡片,学生看卡片做相应动作。师问: What are you doing ? 学生做回答)5、T: Lets play again. I want some students to come here. Andchoose a card and then do the action.one of you asks him or her:What are you doing? Clear?6、Ok, so much for this. Now , please open your books and turn to page 46. Listen to the tape. Listen, point and repeat. 教师播放Lets learn 部分的录音,学生边听边指边读. (课件)7、Now,Lets change !you re teachers.Im a student.you teach me.understand? (让 学生当小老师,检查读音)8、T:O K,loo k here .(师生分工读)看黑板读。Ss: What are you doing? What are you doing? T: Im doing the dishes. (教师边做动作边说)What are you doing?Lets chant . ( 出示P44的Lets chant.边说边做)。(课件)设计思路: 学完动词短语后看课件领读动词短语,领读过程中,通过动词原形与现在分词的对比,使学生进一步理解现在分词的构成,中间加上一个快速反应游戏,猜词卡,看卡片做动作回答问题 等游戏让学生熟悉和记忆所学的动词短语,这是为以后记忆单词做准备。接着听录音读课文,学生当小老师教读课文以检查读音。在朗读完课文后师生拍节奏说句子 ,自然引出Lets chant的内容。Chant部分是对前面学习的内容的巩固.Step 4 .Consolidation and extension1Ok, So much for this ,now look at the sceen , Lets try . (课件) Question 1:How many children in the telephone dialogue?Q2:Who are they? Q3: What is John doing ?Q4: What is Sarah doing ?2. Now ,boys and girls .take out the papers in your desk. Work in groups. First write the -ing form of the verbs and then make a survey with these verb phrases.
