A.Lets read Unit 3 PEPBook7 I. Analyzing the teaching materials l The lesson that Ill demonstrate today is from PEP Book 7;A. Lets read in Unit 3. Its a teaching for reading. The unit is talking about future tense. Students have learnt some vocabulary and sentence structures e.g. “What are you going to do? Im going to” in the previous lessons. The part of “Lets read” is a passage that will train the students ability of reading and reinforce the target language theyve learnt before. II. Teaching aims l1. knowledge aims l2. Skill aims l3. Strategy aims l4. Attitude aims III. Teaching important and difficult points l1. To help students obtain reading strategies to comprehend the passage and develop their interests in English. l2. Teaching aids lTape-recorder, picture-cards, word- cards, work sheets VI. Teaching assessment l The formative assessment focuses on the process of learning, that is, on assessing how well children perform tasks and make progress during the process of learning. VII.
