LubricantsupplysystemandoperatingmethodofmultisystemlubricationscrewcompressorSekiya;Yoshimitsu(Moriya,JP)AbstractAnoilrefrigerationscrewcompressorbeingappliedtoarefrigerationsystemetc.,inwhichtheproblemofstrengthreductionofabearingmaterialunderhightemperaturesandthatoflifetimereductionofthebearingmaterialduetoviscosityloweringoflubricantaresolved.Alubricantsupplysystemtoacompressorbodyisdividedintoabearingoilsupplysystemforsupplyinglubricanttoeachbearingofthecompressorbodyatlowpressureandintoatemperaturecontroloilsupplysystemforsupplyinglubricantintothecompressorbodyathighpressure.Thebearingoilsupplysystemisaclosedcircuitoilsupplysystemcomprisinganoilsupplytank,anoilcooler,andanoilsupplypump,andthetemperaturecontroloilsupplysystemisaclosedcircuitoilsupplysystemcomprisinganoilseparatorandanoilcooler.BESTMODEFOREMBODIMENTOFTHEINVENTIONPreferredembodimentofthepresentinventionwillnowbedetailedwithreferencetotheaccompanyingdrawings.Itisintended,however,thatunlessparticularlyspecified,dimensions,materials,relativepositionsandsoforthoftheconstituentpartsintheembodimentsshallbeinterpretedasillustrativeonlynotaslimitativeofthescopeofthepresentinvention.FIG.1isaschematicillustrationofanexampleoflubeoilsupplylineofthescrewcompressoraccordingtothepresentinventioninaperspectiveview.InFIG.1,referencenumeralIisanoilsupplylineforcontrollingtemperature,lubeoilissuppliedthroughthislinetobeinjectedfromaslidevalvetowardscrewrotorsbconsistingofamalerotorandafemalerotorinordertocontroltemperatureofthecompressedfluiddischargedfromthecompressortogetherwiththecompressedfluid.ReferencenumeralIIisabearinglubricatingoilsupplyline,lubeoilissuppliedthroughthislinetosleevebearingsdandthrustbearingseofrotorshaftsc,toabalancepistongforreducingthrustload,andtoanoilsealh,andflowsouttoareturnpathIIwhichcommunicatestoanoilsupplytanknotshowninthedrawing.ReferencenumeralIIIisanoilsupplylineforsupplyingoiltoahydraulicpistonpfordrivingtheslidevalvea.ThislineisaclosedlineprovidedseparatelyfromthelineIandIIwhicharerelatedtothepresentinvention,ThelineIIIisnotrelatedtotheinvention,soexplanationisomitted.ByprovidingtheoilsupplylinesIandIIseparatelyfromeachotherintheinvention,thecompressorcanbeoperatedatoptimalconditionsconcerningtemperature,pressure,andflowrateoflubeoilsuppliedviaeachoftheoilsupplylines,andtheobjectsofthepresentinventioncanbeattained.Next,inFIG.2showingthelubeoilsupplysystemofthefirstembodimentoftheinvention,referencenumeral1isascrewcompressor,2isascrewrotorofapairofmaleandfemalescrewrotorssupportedrotatablyintherotorcasingofthecompressor1,3isaslidevalveforinjectinglubeoiltotherotor2intherotorcasing.Referencenumeral1aisasuctionportoffluidftobecompressed,1bisadischargeportofcompressedfluidf,and2aisashaftpartoftherotor2.Thefluidftobecompressedissuckedfromthesuctionport1aintothecompressor1andcompressedastherotors2rotatetobedischargedinapressurizedstatetogetherwithlubeoilmixedinit.Themixedlubeoilisseparatedfromthecompressedgasinanoilseparator4.Theseparatedlubeoiliscooledinanoilcooler5,filteredthroughafilter6toremoveforeignmatter,andagainreturnedtotheslidevalve3.Thisclosedcirculationcircuitcomposesthetemperaturecontrol,oilsupplylineIandshownbyabrokenline.Referencenumeral7isanoilsupplytankinwhichlubeoilisreserved,theoilreservedintheoilsupplytank7issuppliedbymeansofanoilsupplypump8torotorbearingpartsofthecompressorviaanoilcoolerandafilter10.Thelubeoilsuppliedtotherotorbearingpartsisrecoveredtotheoilsupplytank7passingthroughareturnpathL.sub.3.ThisclosedcircuitcomposesthebearinglubricatingoilsupplylineIIandshownbyasolidline.Theoilsupplytank7isprovidedwithaliquid-levelmeter13fordetectingoillevelsandaliquidleveltransmitter11forsendingoillevelsdetectedbytheliquid-levelmeter13toanoil-levelcontroloperator12.Atemperaturecontrolvalve14isprovidedintheupstreamoftheoilcooler9,abranchpathL.sub.1branchesfromthetemperaturecontrolvalve14,andabranchpathL.sub.2equippedwithapressureregulatorvalve15branchesfromthebranchpathL.sub.1forallowingapartofthelubeoilfromtheoilsupplypump8tobereturnedtotheoilsupplytank7.ApathL.sub.4isprovidedwhichcommunicatesthegaszoneintheupperpartoftheoilsupplytank7toapositionnearthesuctionport1a,apressureregulatorvalve16isprovidedinthepathL.sub.4,andapathL.sub.5havingaflowregulatorvalve17isprovidedforallowingthelubeoilintheoilsupplylineIItobesuppliedtothepositionnearthesuctionport1a.ApathL.sub.6isprovidedtothetemperaturecontroloilsupplylineIforsupplyingapartofthelubeoiltointhelinetotheoilsupplytank7,andafilter18andaflowregulatorvalve19areprovidedinthepathL.sub.6.Atemperaturecontrolvalve20isprovidedinthedownstreamoftheoilcooler5,andapathL.sub.7branchesfromthetemperaturecontrolvalve20.Theoilseparator4isprovidedwithaliquid-levelmeter22fordetectingoillevelsandaliquid-levelswitch21forallowinganalarmtobesoundedwhenthedetectedoillevelhasloweredtoalimitlevel.Referencenumerals23,24,and25aretemperaturedetectorsfordetectingandtransmittingsignalsofdetectedtemperatures,andreferencenumeral26,27,28,and29arepressuredetectorsfordetectingpressureandtran
